The Twitter growth rumor was that Twitter had reached it’s popularity peak. If you saw the news yesterday from the WSJ followyou would have read how their user growth picked up last quarter. These users also logged in at least once per month. Twitters shares rose 29% after hours to more than their first day closing price on the New York Stock Exchange.

Lisa: I listened to a recent episode of The Social with interview with a guy from Mashable. He explained the Twitter growth in a good way.

Personally, Twitter, is my favorite social media tool. I like the simplicity of it and the open communication structure. My bet is that Twitter is here to stay.

The challenge is how you could use it as a small business owner, with stats, search, branding, ads, etc. It is still a bit clunky now and then! ;)
