Ivan: Have you tested out Google+ for a mastermind / niche community group? Tumblr's follow feature is neat for growing an audience over time.

Ivan: We have seen two camps regarding Google+. One is saying it is a ghost town and the other is saying it is alive and kicking. I see several benefits for small business owners, using Tumblr and Google+ that I can report in another comment, if you are interested! ;)

Yahoo has a long story of cutting out services over time, but I think Tumblr has its own eco-system and will still be around in 2020. Google+ could be a re-run event of what happened with Google Wave and Buzz...

I agree - I think Tumblr will somehow survive. I'm not sure about Google+ though.
