Whether you own an e-commerce site or an established brick-and-mortar store, you should know which of these is better suited as a venue for your message to customers.

I think that using both has their advantages, however, I would opt more for the social media route.

How about doing a marketing mix of both new (social) media and old (traditional) mainstream media (as suggested at the end of the blog post)?
