Social media is an invaluable marketing tool that can help your business achieve greater visibility and expand your customer base. However, you need to invest a lot of time and effort in order to get the most out of social media marketing. If you find that it is too tiresome and time-consuming to promote your business on social media networks, you may want to consider outsourcing the task to another company or individual.

I think it depends on what your main goals and purpose is with your social media. I personally wouldn't outsource my main social media. However, I would outsource some syndication of the content I create to be distributed and shared on other less popular social sites. This would all be in a effort to build up traffic and exposure to my own blog and to my main social accounts.
