Podcasts in Google Play Store as Google Embraces Podcasting

Google announced that they will be making podcasts available in the Google Play Store. This opens access to users by providing an app that is native to Android devices which makes it easy for them to consume podcasts without the need to purchase an app. Great news for podcasters and great news for podcast listeners too!
