Interesting approach. But the bigger question is...does it really matter? I mean, presumably if a person is looking for high PR pin boards, they are already doing a lot of marketing on Pinterest. And presumably, that means there will be a lot of pins already. In general, boards with more followers/pinners will be higher in PR. And in general, all links from Pinterest will convey the same domain authority. And more important than PR at that point is the relevance of the pages and the surrounding pages. So....the way I see it, time spent searching based on PR would be better spent seeking the most popular boards for your niche.
