Social Media is affecting human relationships. Twitter allows me to tell my followers what is going on in 140 characters from my smartphone anywhere and Pinterest lets me plan a wedding with a groom I have yet to meet.

What is social media doing to relationships with ourselves and others?

Great post Jenny, giving me lots to think about. There are pros and cons to Social Media. For me the pros have been connecting with some great people who have become good friends in life away from the internet, it's provided me with work and gives me someone to chat to. The cons are the time spent on it plus the darker side of trolls and bullying - also the addiction you have mentioned. So far for me the cons far outweigh the pros luckily.
