Google Plus rolls out Communities feature

If you were on Google+ on Thursday, you probably discovered a new tab called “Communities” in your left sidebar.

This feature allows any member of the social network to create public and / or private groups centered around specific hobbies, interests, topics, or organizations.

I started one, but don't have a big following, so it'll take some time to build up. I plan to use the hangout feature within my community.

Google Plus Communities will allow users to associate in groups and create virtual homes for the things that bring them together. There are several type of communities that you can create, depending on your privacy preferences and the rights you want to assign to community members. Thanks for sharing.
