With Google Plus comes Author rank which will be playing a far stronger role in search, time to watch as the rules of SEO begin to change.

Interesting, Jackie.

If Author Rank becomes the state of the art, I suspect we'll still see an endless stream of backlink articles (how it's still the greatest thing ever invented), and we'll still be getting the crappy spams of how we can get 10's of 1,000's of links to shady offshore 'directories', gambling, drug & porno sites, and the like. The reality may change, the spam & advice will take years to catch up.

I know...it always seems to be swings and roundabouts dosen't it.

Maybe its the optimist in me, but I would like to think that this is the beginning of some substantial change, that sees the death of trash websites that scrape and plagairise content.

Imagine a utopian web world where only good content rose to the top.....ahhhh just the thought of it ;)
