We are all aware of people and events going viral over night. We are aware of videos on YouTube getting millions of hits in matter of weeks. (Call me maybe?). And while we are staring in disbelief of their online success there are lessons to be learned from them.

A very well written piece. I agree with every point, especially with giving your brand a personality. I believe this is especially important because there'e more people than just "you" who are writing about your particular subject or topic. Don't just be another "me too" writer, you have to infuse your own original and unique personality into your marketing and your content to truly stand out from the masses.
