Great post. I'm a huge believer in everyone sticking to what they are good at - and have time to do. If work has to be delegated then do it as it will probably save you valuable time. There is a lot more to writing a blog than most people think - as you have mentioned above so sometimes it's best to get an expert to do it and you'll hopefully reap better rewards.
