For a lot of people, self-help books and articles might be doing them more harm than good.

Including this one.

I'm also reading inspirational/motivational books which I believe belongs to the self-help category but I'm limiting my reading to 1 or 2 chapters a week. By not reading continuously I have time to think things thoroughly and apply/relate what I had read to my life.

And I agree with you, self-help books is bad if you had too much for it. Too much of something is always bad. Reading is good but you have to take action if you need change in your self.

Hi Juliusshawn,

Letting ideas sit for a bit is a great idea. I find it's how most of us get our best work done. Thanks for sharing!

Well written. Building a successful business from scratch is simply all about surmounting challenges; nothing more, nothing less. No successful entrepreneur has had a smooth ride to the top and none ever will. The challenges, disappointment and failures will always be there; it’s the manner you handle them that determines whether you will succeed or not. But still, thanks for sharing.
