There's an old adage that "The Customer Is Always Right!" But, de-facto, that means that we as businesspeople are ALWAYS WRONG!

It's a policy that makes a mockery of us as business-owners, professionals and human-beings! Ir takes away our rights and dignity!

So, what's the answer?

Hi Yoni,

I can inderstand what you are saying. If you look at it from a customer's point of view they often perceive they are right even if they are wrong.

I guess it is up to how each owner handles the communication and relationship.

I believe it is a fine line that we walk. At most times we can placate and massage egos, but there is that tipping point where sometimes, to save our sanity and dignity, we must say "You are Wrong!"

Yoni, when a customer comes in to my and Al's store with an uppity attitude of being right all the time and we are wrong I try to make the situation better. If they get really out of hand and act like they are ALWAYS right and we are wrong just cause thats the way it has to be I tell them they can go elsewhere!
