The day you decide to have a conversation with yourself can be one of the most powerful days in your life.

When it comes to personal motivation, I don’t think anyone has influenced me more than Jim Rohn. In every book I’ve read of his and every presentation I’ve watched him give, there are bite sized nuggets of wisdom that are worth their weight in gold.

Gary: I have conversations with myself all the time. I call it for introspection. Do you know where I could buy some "girl scout cookies" in Europe?

Hey Martin, yes, us business owners tend to have lots of conversations with ourselves......my wife catches me talking to myself all the time! No girl scout cookies in Europe? What a sad place to be, you're missing out! Cheers

Hi Gary,

I don't think any entrepreneur is ever completely satisfied with where his or her business is...nor should we be! In the end, there are probably a series of little talks we must have with ourselves along the way. Just as in other aspects of our lives, it's good to always be on the lookout for the next step, the next opportunity for growth. Thanks for sharing this motivational post with the BizSugar community!

Thanks Heather. You're right, along the road of business ownership you're going to have moments where you have to stop and do a gut check with yourself, to make sure you're still on the right path and moving forward with your business. Being a business owner can be alienating if you let it, it's great to have communities like Biz Sugar to bring us all together. Cheers!
