One of the areas I've struggled with, is how to get the most out of a good book, in which I'm learning lots of new things that I might be able to apply in my life.

I love reading and spend at least an hour a day immersed in a good book. My Mom got me started those many years ago. Funny thing is back then I hated her for it.

Believe me, I'm not putting down reading books - but Mark Twain, Abraham Lincoln, and James Russell Lowell all lived before the wonders of the Boob Tube, let alone the internet. They didn't even have a radio to sit in front of (like my recent ancestors). What else was there to do?
