Easier said than done! I'm good at keeping it close to zero in my client: I use sub-folders in the in-box and move everything at least weekly, and believe me, I have about 15 email accounts funneled through my client to keep up after.... My husband is another story! There are over 3K emails sitting in his various in-boxes as we speak. But some people just can't afford to spend the time to organize it. When I see people who are highly organized, I tend to believe they spend all their time doing that and not much in actual creative work. Perhaps a prejudice, but I'd rather have the messy inbox and the brilliant, creative employee than one who is just okay and has an organized life. I know I'm off topic of your post, so let me just say thanks for the food for thought!
