I had to take action, to save my sanity, and found salvation in the form of two concepts, Getting Things Done (GTD) and Inbox Zero. After combining these two simple concepts into my own personal system, I went from being unable to keep up with my email, to processing over 2000 emails in 45 minutes or less.
