There's been a lot of debate about this, I'm more of a wordpress person rather than a blogger guy. True, blogger is a platform for newbies, since you won't have to pay for hosting and there's ton of customizable bloggers themes out there.

Thanks for sharing with the BizSugar community. Love to see comparisons like this for when online business owners are seeking the right platform. Though there are other options out there. TypePad and Movable Type spring to mind, to name just two examples. Maybe there's room for a followup?

I think It's obvious. Wordpress is the best blogging platform out there. It cannot be compared with blogger or any other platform for that matter..

Valentine: I am using Wordpress, Blogger, Tumblr, Post Haven and Squarespace. According to my view, Squarespace is the outstanding platform on the market at the moment.

As I have been blogging for 11 years, I am having a bit problem with Ashwani Ahlawat's statement: "Blogger is a platform for newbies."

Google's Blogger will not go away in the foreseen future...
