It is a big misconception that you have to be in your teens or 20's to start a business. I do agree with you. Older people bring in wealth of experience and knowledge along with thick Rolodex and this can help them immensely when starting a business.

Personally, I think creativity does not come with age. There's so many successful people out there ranging from oldies to 15 year old whiz kids.

Hi Debra,

I think we tend to focus on the younger success stories. The fact is there are many successful older entrepreneurs, but generally they just don't get the same press.
