You know the saying: “The early bird gets the worm.” Now, I don’t know if you are in the worm business, or if you are even a bird for that matter. But, if you are an entrepreneur, the early time of the morning is when you can get a lot of work done. Here are twenty eight ways you can wake up earlier.

I am a night watchman and not a morning person, but right now I am up at 6 AM! ;) Have you heard about Leonardo da Vinci and how he practiced polyphasic sleep (taking plenty of short naps during a whole day)?

Thank God that I don't have problems with my sleep and early wakening. :)

Anyway, thank you for sharing!

I really resonate with tip number 1. When you let the sun in, it's like a natural response to wake up. However, that doesn't always work especially if you slept late the night before. Hence, just to make sure, have an alarm clock ready and tell someone in your family to wake you up no matter what.

I agree. That can make it hard getting up on time in the winter...and hard getting enough sleep in the summer.

This is a big problem for me, I'm also not a morning person like Sian above, but your tips will definitely help me.

Great ideas. I'm not a morning person although when I am I get loads done and it sets the day up nicely. Getting in the routine of it always works for me too. But due to time differences with my clients I tend to work late at night so then the early morning doesn't happen. Thanks for sharing this on Bizsugar.com
