Damn. This is true. Companies are making people people confused just to get them to buy there products. They are not going through honesty but they are using hypocrisy.

Thank you for sharing this to bizsugar community. It is really a great opportunity to see everyone's opinion on something worth knowing.

David - Very interesting experience. Product proliferation and channel conflict are two time honored ways to confuse your customers. Large companies experience this all the time. It is not uncommon to find two sales people from the same company visiting one customer and the customer introducing them to each other. When it happens with a smaller company, however, you have a serious problem on hand.
