Sales is a creative process that requires the sales professional to master the "science" in order to excel at the "art". You can only go so far by focusing strictly on the "art", true professionals continue to focus and improve the fundamentals, which then allows them to evolve the whole process and grow.

I loved the music analogy, Tibor! Perfect example: Andres Segovia, the greatest classical guitarist who ever lived. He was self taught, but started at 4 & played till he was 94. He practiced 6 hours a day every day right up to the end (he had a concert scheduled a few weeks after he died that he was preparing for). He always said: "If I don't practice 1 day - I know, two days - my family knows, 3 days - everyone knows!"
