Why do sales people have such an intense desire to do things their own way?

Where do leaders draw the line? How do they distinguish between the times when they should give their people some space and when it’s time to reign them in?

Great post. This is always the Catch 22 for sales manager. Many times I find you almost have to let lose until it is a little uncomfortable. As long as they always know they are accountable for results--it usually works out...except for that once :)
