Carol Lynn Rivera, project manager of Rahvalor Interactive, suggests it's time to ditch that stuffy old home page in favor of something new. How about a sales funnel segmented by needs and interests, price range, demographics and other qualities that might separate your visitors. The idea is to save visitors time by directing them immediately to the product, service or information they have come to your site seeking. It will take some homework, Rivera warns, but the outcome could be a way to get customers further along toward your desired outcome: more customers and more sales.
