The first thing I thought about this article was that I don't get the whole Facebook craze either, but there's a bigger lesson here. This article is a perfect example of why you should NEVER based marketing and media-buying decisions on what YOU like or think will work unless you're a good example of your target market.
If it wasn't for suzy's comment I would have skipped this article. I read the headline and thought it was about telling your kids about Internet predators.
I just submitted a story about research done on Facebook types. His niece could fit into a few of those types, but certainly a Essentialist.
I wish there was an easy way I could drag my submission URL into this comment (hint to bizSugar).
