HeatherStone-- yes! That is correct. Investors invest in people first and ideas second. I always say that there's no shortage of ideas in the world. It's getting those ideas validated and to market that is difficult- and requires the right implementation team.

Creatingawebstore-- couldn't agree more!!

Thanks to you both for commenting.

Hi Caroline,

We hear often that investors are more interested in the team they back than any idea that team may have at the moment. #1 sure seems to bear this out. Thanks to Noah Parsons for sharing this post with the BizSugar community.

I like this question:

#8: What mistakes have you made thus far in this business and what have you learned?

Aside from investors asking us this, I feel we should all ask ourselves this question from time to time. Personally, I have learned a lot from my mistakes. When I work on projects, I always make sure that I don't make those same mistakes again.
