I listen to daily news streams over the web, and take it all with a grain of salt, but I have virtually unplugged from all television and cable media. Once in awhile when I am visiting friends or family, I get a glimpse at what's aired on television as far as shows/commercials and the agenda behind a lot of the programming seems blatant to me now.

Great article. Yes, I do that more often than not, the media attempts to control it's audience with fear. In my opinion, most of what we see in the media isn't as it seems or is amplified to appear to be worse or less than what it was.
