Just like bloggers, most podcasters are obsessed with checking their stats. I’m a huge stats junkie myself so I can totally relate to why people are constantly checking their stats. But if you’re hosting your podcast with Libsyn (which I highly recommend) there are a few things to keep in mind and be prepared for before you start digging through the mountain of data in your dashboard.

Lyceum, we need to chat more in detail because I'm not sure what you mean by the Libsyn app. There are 3 ways I can answer that question so the answer depends on what you are trying to find out. :)

You may email me if you wish ileane at basicblogtips dot com

Wow! Great post. I don't know much about podcasting, because I haven't done one yet. However, it's on my vision board for this year. Guess I'll be watching tutorials on how to do a podcast.

Thanks, Ileane

Hey Lyceum. I use Audioboo.fm and I also have some episodes on SoundCloud. The stats in Libsyn are far more in depth than what you can get from SoundCloud. I'd love to join you on your show. Thanks for the invite.

Ileane: Thanks for your reply! I will look into Libsyn. I need to look over my different costs for creating podcasts and see if I can get sponsors for my show in the long run. I have had premium on BlogTalkRadio in periods and I have premium account on SoundCloud. I have the free version on Audioboo.

Could you explain how the Libsyn app is working?

Naked chef?! ;) Ileane: I want to have chat with you on my EGO NetCast podcast during 2014. I haven't tested Libsyn yet. I have been using Audioboo, SoundCloud and BlogTalkRadio.
