Technology has improved business in countless ways especially in the area of globalizing businesses, now you dont have to limit your business to your community alone, you can actually have a worldwide presence through the use of technology, and in the area of productivity; technology has contributed immensely to business. Initial implementations of information technology in business almost always focus on cost reduction; it’s been that way ever since computers were first invented. But cost reduction is only one of the different ways that technology can improve your business, and if you’re only looking at cost reduction then you’re not as effective as you ought to be in your use of information technology.
