What is a Pay-As-You-Go Gym Membership?
Pay-As-You-Go has been used by gyms in many different ways. It can simply mean that it’s a membership with no contractual obligations–the member can cancel at any time. So a month-to-month membership could be viewed as pay-as-you-go if there is no commitment past the current month.
Pay-As-You-Go has also been interpreted to mean just that, pay as you go. Much like a calling card or pre-paid cellphones, members are charged for each visit to the health club.
