This article offers 4 excellent reasons NOT to publish a Kindle ebook, from a consultant who provides Kindle services. The 4 reasons not to publish in Kindle are:

(1) Sales from a Kindle book take time to grow. It's a long term thing. If you need money right now, a Kindle book isn't the answer.

(2) You will need to invest time in the process of creating your Kindle book. "Nothing of substance happens without an investment of time."

(3) You have no budget to invest in the creation of your Kindle book. You don't want it to appear your book was done on the cheap.

(4) You hate marketing, won't do it yourself and don't want pay someone to help market it.
