Have you ever cringed when receiving an invitation to guest post on someone’s blog? It happens all the time, and I’m on a mission to make it occur less often.

Since starting my guest writing series about nine months ago I’ve learned a few things, and also gleaned a lot of wisdom from guest writing on other blogs. I’ve seen some questionable practices I consider to be inconsiderate and rude, and believe discourage even the most willing beginner from continuing to guest post.

For the most part it’s been a positive time, however, there have been several negative experiences that have caused me to want to share these points in the blog posts.
