Hi Brad, nice write-up. Just saw something over on Marketing Land that's very interesting. It's a summary of a Havard Business School paper that investigates the tendencies of Yelp review fraud practitioners. The paper itself can get dense (there are formulas!) but definitely worth the read. I'll submit it myself to Bizsugar.

That is a great find and I'm glad that someone did a study on it. In my article, I wrote that Yelp is remarkably good at filtering out reviews that were generated by a business physically asking for them - this is because the reviews come out less genuine and are easier to spot. Thanks for sharing!

What a comprehensive look at Yelp. Have you heard of the site's new feature being rolled out? Yelp is apparently adding the ability to order food first and then other services from local businesses. This is definitely a site to watch. Thanks for sharing your post with the BizSugar community.
