It's one thing to publish something that you know is going to generate emotion -- whether it's anger, relief, humor, etc. (In fact, if your content DOESN'T make readers feel something, you're not doing it right!)
That being said, there's a big difference between taking a strong stance and welcoming different opinions, and coming across as a thug. You want people to laugh with you, not AT you :)
