The thing about Facebook is that it always seems to me that it should be a good means of promoting business ventures, yet inevitably, when I look at the traffic its bringing in, as opposed to sites like LinkedIn (or even Flickr where I'm not even making that much of an effort to promote my business) I always find myself disappointed. I think part of the problem is Flickr emphasis on people you went to high school and college with, a group I wouldn't consider my best prospects for sale of products and services.
