It's probably also worth saying, though I think it's a subtext in your points here, that blogging replaces the concept of more expensive, less focused mass marketing where you're paying a big media outlet tons of money to broadcast a message most of their audience will ignore for less expensive, more focused marketing with keywords attracting smaller audiences already interested in your product or service at a much lower cost (even if you pay someone else to create your blog or pay for a premium platform.)
