SEO is fueled by quality content, so you want to make sure that your writing strategy is down pat. While it isn’t easy being an online writer, it is actually the website owners that can ruin SEO writing and fall into a costly trap.

Good points! Though I think it boils down to the fact you just need a good SEO writer. There are bad writers out there! And seems like that number is only growing, which is why SEO writers are getting a bad rap.

To me, it seems like there are more and more low-quality articles (poor content, not genuine/authentic) that are written just for the sake of SEO, and to be cheap, they're written by people who I think English is a second language. So when you combine the two, it doesn't sound natural. No good thing comes out of that.

Maybe I'm being a little brash -- what do you think?

That is easy. Your content need to be written for people and your potential costumers but your content also need to be written for search engine ( spiders ). When you find golden middle between that two you are going to have great content and website!
