Ileane: I attended a webinar with Tim Paige of LeadPages the other day. Personally, I have issues with the popboxes all over the Internet. I said that during the webinar as a question to Tim: Would you shout via a megaphone, if someone would know on your door? He responded in a great way, and said that he was not a fan of the regular popup box on the market. I like that you could cater the leadbox to a specific visitor and that you could decide how often the box will show.

Have you tested the exitbox feature?

In general I'm not a fan of popups either but they really do work. I made a compromise by installing them on a few blog posts (less than 5% of the pages on my blog).

In addition to catering the message based on my content, I also love how we can delay the popup so the person has a chance to at least read a couple of sentences or more if I want.

Exit pages are something I would never do since I think they are more of an insult to my intelligence than a popup. :)
