Fantastic post. I really liked your tip about posting controversial blog comments. I agree that this is a great strategy to drive a lot of traffic. I do quite a bit of blog commenting myself and I get a good amount of traffic from it. When I'm commenting, my aim is not so much to build traffic but to build relationships with the bloggers themselves and form traffic alliances with them. I've realized that building relationships are where the true traffic comes in and has many other long-term benefits such as JV's and future affiliate opportunities.
