I didn't specifically realize this about commentluv until I read Ana Hoffman's post yesterday; and now yours.
I currently use Disqus on my blog and it seems that most of my readers don't particularly like iFram systems. So, I've been debating about switching to commentluv. You did a great job of explaining the issues here and I'll be taking your advice into consideration.

I don't think that's the solution. The advantages out-weight the set backs. Just keep it and get the remedies I proposed ;)
