Sure, Flash can be useful in some situations, but it should only be used when absolutely necessary (creating animated text = not one of those situations). So, without further ado, here are five of the most frustrating reasons why Flash sucks (believe me, there are plenty more).

It is surprising how moany people still religiously use flash. I think as Alastair said, clients unfortunately think it is "pretty" regardless of the implications on functionality.

Unfortunately clients think its pretty. It's generally a year or more after putting up a site that the average client gets round to thinking about whether it actually does anything useful. Sad but in my experience true.

I totally agree and the sites forget not all countries have broadband speed and it can take forever to load. What surprises me is the number of creative agencies that use it.
