Vlogging is not for everyone. That's what I believe. There's people out there who prefer to write than film themselves. I personally prefer writing articles rather than talking in front of the video camera. I guess, it just boils down to preferences.

If I had to start all over again, I would definitely choose Vlogging because we all talk faster than we write, and with today's video software you can now make some really professional looking videos at a relatively low price.

Well we do talk faster, but you have to be good to shoot a video faster than you can write an article. As far as the software goes there are some free tools that you can use as well and create good quality videos.
