Are You Using Anchor Text Correctly?

Anchor text (the visible text of a hyperlink on a webpage) serves more than one purpose. Obviously, it’s much better from a user experience standpoint. If you wanted to reference another webpage and included the full http:// web address every time, especially within the middle of a sentence or paragraph, it would look terrible. But that’s not the only reason to use them. Anchor text also serves an important search engine optimization purpose.

Hugely important points, Nick, especially about the value search engines place on anchor text in inbound links. I'm convinced many online copywriters still don't quite understand this or don't understand it well enough.
