Definitely an important point about PageRank here, because though PageRank can still be important, it's one of several factors and can be easily affected by social activity (inbound links and so-forth) on the Internet over which the Website owner can have little or no control. It's possible, for example, not to be ranking high for the keywords you initially expected would bring you success, but if your traffic and conversion are both up it could mean that Internet users have simply repositioned your product. It's also important to test customer reaction to your site and check your expectations when it comes to their reaction. Seek positive results even if they are not necessarily the ones you expected.
