Knowing what to do is really straightforward, I find. Getting those "seed" users is the biggest challenge and the article isn't helpful in that regard really.
Aaronontheweb, you are right, finding the seed users is the biggest challenge. I recommend creating relationships with people in your niche way before you plan to launch your community. Relationship-building is an art, both in online and offline community. Perhaps I need to write a new article on that topic. Thank you for your feedback.
