Fantastic post! Easy to follow guide lines and great points you mentioned. I especially like the drawing out my customer tip. I'm in the internet marketing/traffic generation niche. That tip helped me realize... err... reminded me rather that my target audience is not only in the IM niche, they're in other niches as well. There's plenty of other niches that need to learn how to drive targeted traffic.

You truly need to explore what your niche is about before you decide to jump into your online content marketing plan. If you don't know your niche in and out, you won't be able to post great content.
