Cloud computing is a way of digitizing information that downplays the use of hardware. More companies are moving to take advantage of its lower cost structure, and revamp their business models. I agree! I always see the cloud services as a great backup tool when things go wrong with your main system. I personally don't have the gut to bring everything to the (public) cloud and lose a certain level of control over them.
