I said this same thing years ago and I am glad it is now verified, WalMart has directly contributed to many communities' poverty rate. When a big box store bullies' their way into a community knowing full well that the small businesses there will not be able to fight back; that's taking disadvantage. Jobs are lost, people's lives are ruined and self esteems crushed. Where is the justice for small business? This is where you come in, as the article suggest reduce your WalMart shopping by 10% and head over to the Mom & Pop store and show you still support them.
