Optimism among small-business owners fell last month to a 17-year low as companies said they expect business conditions to worsen in the next six months.

The National Federation of Independent Business confidence index declined 2.8 percentage points to 91.8, according to the Washington-based group. Eight of the 10 components making up the measure declined.

Not to be doom and gloom. I thought it was sorta funny since I noticed there was another article on here posted 14 days ago that said small business optimism was up. Lies, damn lies, and statistics.
