Guest blogging sparked a phenomena of website owners to utilize it in order to debuting new bloggers to specific communities, and bring in fresh content. The problem is – it got way out of hand. Google cautioned about guest blogging long ago. It's not new news!

Guest blogging is still as effective and useful as it used to be. If you really know how best to use it then, forget about what Google is saying and continue with it. Just don't do it in a spammy way. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be ignoring Google and continuing to accept dubiously written articles that will get you flagged for spam. That is what the majority of websites have been doing.

Let your own voice come out first. If I let my site become inundated with guest posts, who would be the voice behind Blondish.net? Really... a blogger that has been around for 13 years shouldn't be relying on many blog posts written by others. Sure, it does give the blog a fresh face, but the amount of those fresh faces with little knowledge in the field, writers who re-wrote other's articles and crappy written articles are seen a lot more than the few actually doing it right.
